Sitting up like a BIG BOY!

I like to try to sit up like a big boy ("unassisted" my Mor says). Here I am in my buggy, sitting up. I'm wearing my "new" (big boy) New York Yankees pajamas with my matching Nike shoes!

Sleeping with the dogs!

I love to snuggle when I sleep... or at least have someone touching me, so that I know that they're still there! My Mor captured this picture of me sleeping while my dog Sable had her hand (I mean, paw) on my tummy and I had my hand on her shoulder. I was sound asleep!

I can sleep almost anywhere!

Here I am sleeping in my Mor's (Lisa's) lap, while she reads her email on the laptop! Usually, I like to "help" her type and send emails! But, I was very tired and fussy and when she was swaying me back and forth on her lap, and I just fell asleep. She had to hold my head in her hand, because I'm really too long (tall) for this sleeping position!

A visit with Santa and his Reindeer

We went to get Phoenix's picture taken today with Santa and his reindeer. It didn't exactly go as planned. He seemed okay with Santa at first, but then... lower lip jutting out, and then, TEARS! :( This is the only picture that I could take of Phoenix and Santa, his reindeer baby "Crispy" (who is 6 months old), and one of his elves. We got one taken by the photographer as well, but no smile. There were many reindeer in the field that we got photos of, too. Babies and adults. Phoenix enjoyed watching the reindeer, especially when they were rutting.

ALOHA!

Aloha, everyone! My Mommy's friends Dave and Jodi got me this cool t-shirt (the dark blue shirt) from their trip to Hawaii! It's for a 12 month old, but it already fits me! I will be 8 months old on Sunday (12/6) and I'm 6 months old (gestationally). So, I'm just growing like a weed (I heard someone say that... I don't really know what a weed grows like, yet)! My Mor (Lisa) was worried about my developmental milestones, but I'm doing what I should be doing for my adjusted age (6 months). I'm rolling around like crazy (back to front and front to back). I make it very difficult for anyone to change my diapers or change my clothes! I hold my head up very well, even if I'm being "flown" around like I'm an airplane! I'm not quite sitting up, unassisted and I don't crawl yet. But, I may just choose to go straight to walking (my doctor told my moms that sometimes happens). I love to stand up (holding someone's hands) and I love to bounce in my Johnny Jump Up. My Mor also decided to post some of my silly pictures. She just wanted to let people know that I don't exactly make it easy to get the "perfect shot". I like to shout and make silly noises and wave my arms and kick my legs. One of the photos is of me saying my new favorite word: "A". I like to shout it out like I'm trying to get someone's attention (like "HEY" without the "H")! Kind of like Rocky Balboa - note the Rocky look!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Coos Bay to celebrate Thanksgiving with Phoenix's great-grandparents (Steph's Grandparents) and had a great time. All 3 dogs came with us, as well. Here is Phoenix in his Thanksgiving shirt ("Gobble 'til you wobble"). And, here is a photo of Phoenix sporting "new" olive green cordouroy overalls (this was our Black Friday shopping outfit!). Also, a photo of Phoenix sitting with his great-grandpa! How cool that he can spend time with his great-grandparents!
