Shopping with Mommy

This is the first time I wanted to get in one of these "car" shopping carts. I got to "steer" but I got a little confused why it wasn't turning the way I wanted it to go!

New Raincoat

My moms found this raincoat on clearance at Old Navy and it was hanging in my armoire in my room, because it's a 3T (I'm only 2!). But, I demanded loudly that I wanted my "coat"... so, even though it is very warm upstairs in my room, my Mor let me wear it... until my cheeks got rosy and  I started sweating! She thought it was funny, because I just recently started to like to wear: shoes, coats, and hats... all things that just a few weeks ago I "hated" to put on and wear!

She had to roll the sleeves a little. But, it's lined so it will be great for the coming Fall and next Spring or going to the coast this Summer (if it's rainy). She said I could wear it the next time it rains. And, my both my fireman boots and my bee boots match the bright yellow! I really like yellow things!

Growing Big!

I'm learning to eat (with a fork) by myself... but, my Mor doesn't think I'm very coordinated, so she tries to help me when I want to do it by myself!

She took this picture of me when I was napping on the guest bed in my room. I like to lay under my "leaves" that I call a "tree" (from IKEA). Look how LONG I'm getting!

The Flowers are Blooming!

All of the tulips are blooming and the lillies are budding. I get to help water all the flowers and the vegetables in the container gardens. I really like the water and I water myself, too!

Mother's Day at Outside-In

Because my Mommy (Steph) is only home on weekends, sometimes we get to go out to eat for lunch or dinner... and on Mother's Day, we went to a bistro in Redmond called "Outside-In" for lunch. It is themed for kids my age and a little older with several play areas filled with books and toys and games and comfy couches to climb on!

I really like the Melissa and Doug elephant that you can sit on. I decided to eat my lunch on it! I didn't even care that some girl put a pink tutu on it!

It used to be a wine tasting room before it was this place. So, there are several nooks for toys and play areas. There are a lot of oversized leaves (like the ones I have in my room, from IKEA) and stuffed jungle animals hanging from the walls and upper balconies. FUN!
