Learning Tower Fixed
Mor (Lisa) fixed my Learning Tower to make it more stable and added aluminum bracket stops... and so that when I get excited and bounce around, the platform doesn't slip out and fall to the ground! We have to wait until the weather gets a little warmer before she can prime and paint it, but at least I get to use it again! Here I am helping with dishes and giving one of my dinosaurs a bath!
I can point out 6 different dinosaur pictures (triceratops, spinosaurus, t-rex, supersaurus, stegosaurus, and anklyosaurus) correctly when my moms ask me where each one is! I'm learning a few others, too. My favorite TV shows are Dino Dan (on Nick Jr.) and Dinosaur Train (on PBS Kids). And, I LOVE reading about them too... sometimes at the same time that the show is on TV!
For Valentine's Day I got a bunch more toy, plastic dinosaurs! I am very excited about that! I hide them all over the house and the Tahoe (SUV) so that I (or my Mor) can find them later.
I'm learning new words, but I still like to shorten them:
Rah = Frog
T = T-Rex
Go = Go (out)
Shoes = both shoes and socks are "shoes" (shoes and juice sound nearly identical)... I go get my own shoes when I want to "go" somewhere
Yai = eye
Eeth = teeth
Got = I got it
Gurt = Yogurt
Q = Thank you
Bong = boing (which after 2 weeks my moms finally figured out just means I want to go "boing" bouncing up and down the stairs)
And I can point to most of my body parts when my moms ask me where is it, but I can only say "eye" (yai), "nose" (no), "teeth" (eeth).
I say yes (or YEAH!) a lot more now, especially when my moms FINALLY get what I have been asking for! But, I always have to say "please" (eese) when I ask for something. And, "thank you" (Q = "k'you") when I get it ... I'm still practicing this one.
