My 3rd Birthday Party at Rosse Posse Acres

My moms planned a fantastic birthday party for me, this year! We had it at Rosse Posse Acres, which is a working Elk farm with a cool petting zoo. My friends Max (from Salem) and Malakai (from Redmond) and my cousin Tycho (from Portland) and their parents, and my mom's friend Shani and her daughter Rylee, and my Grandma Bobbie and Grandpa Chris. We had Subway sandwiches, Costco salads, assorted chips, juice, milk, sweet tea, and cupcakes for a picnic lunch outside. Then, we learned about the elk and went on a guided tour, which ended at the petting zoo. The zoo included chickens, miniature horses and donkeys, pygmy goats, fallow deer, bunnies, a wallaby, and a Patagonian cavy (looks like a mythological "jackalope" without the antlers)! Then, we had a "dinosaur" egg hunt outside. And, then we had a dinosaur puppet show back inside the barn... and we had a triceratops pinata, too! And, at the very end we enjoyed a big chocolate cake from Costco with a dinosaur on it and I got to open my presents! It was a beautiful day and it was a super FUN day to celebrate my birthday with my friends (and family)! I had a LOT of fun!

First Day of Preschool

On Friday, April 13th I went to my first day of preschool. Until the end of this school year, I'll be going to preschool for 2 hours every Friday. Then, this coming Fall, I'll go 3 days a week. I had a lot of fun. I have 3 teachers and there are 8 kids in my class.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Phoenix!

On my birthday (Friday, April 6th) my moms woke me up in bed with a rousing "Happy Birthday" song... which they had  to sing twice to wake me up! I got a home made cupcake with candles, balloons, and some birthday presents! Later that day, my Mormor and Morfar came down from Seattle to take me out for dinner at McMennamin's with my mom (Lisa) and Jaxon. My mommy (Steph) had to go to work, so she couldn't come. But, next Saturday (April 14th) I get to have a birthday party!

Easter Egg Hunt at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

The day before Easter (Saturday, April 7th) we went to Woodburn, OR to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm to do the annual Easter egg hunt and then enjoyed the Tulip Festival, including food vendors and gift shops, a pony ride, a "cow train", a big slide, a hay obstacle course, etc. My moms said I wasn't big enough for the zip line or the bungee jump. Here are some photos!
