My COOL new shades!
I got these new sunglasses this week! I'm not too sure about them, yet -- my eyelashes hit the lenses and it feels funny to have something strapped to my face! But, Mommy says I look "COOL"! I can wear them upside down or right side up and there's a strap in the back to keep them on my head. They're rubberized and flexible so they're actually pretty comfortable!

Teething
Phoenix has more teeth coming in .... multiple molars (in all four quadrants). So, he's been pretty fussy and VERY "drool-y"! Here he is chewing BOTH of his hands, trying to sooth his teething.

New Bike Trailer / Jogger
While in Spokane, Lisa spotted a great deal on a wonderful bike trailer that converts into a jogger, when not attached to a bike. However, it was not in our budget to purchase it. So, very generously, Phoenix's Grandma Terri bought it for Phoenix (as a very early Christmas gift)!
Mommy (Steph) is EXTREMELY excited about the trailer. She loves to go on bike rides (mostly mountain biking) and now, she can take Phoenix when she rides on the road, just for exercise, etc.
Although he was kind of unsure about sitting in the trailer at first (initially, Lisa had to hold Phoenix's hand, with the top down while Steph pedaled very slow), he LOVES it now! He says, "WEEEE" when Mommy (Steph) goes around a corner. It is a 2-person trailer, so each of the dogs have had a ride with Phoenix, as well. We have to take more pictures, to capture those moments (with the dogs)!
These photos do not show Phoenix wearing his bike helmet, because he's not used to wearing it yet. We are working on it.... he doesn't like to wear any hat, either! He does get strapped into the 5 point harness, when they go on a ride!

We're starting to harvest food from the Garden!
We've started to pick things from the garden! Today, I tasted a jalapeno pepper, picked a tomato, and touched a bumpy cantaloupe. The tomato garden is so out of control that my Mor (Lisa) had to tie it up with cages, bamboo, and string! We have to remember not to plant so many tomato plants next year! And, the melon / gourd / squash garden has grown through the fence to the neighbors' yard (with squash growing on their side of the fence)!
I helped my mommy (Steph) put the rest of the weed barrier and pea gravel down on the paths between the raised gardens. My Mor is still working on the fence around the garden to keep the dogs and cats out.
We've picked cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, red onions, red cabbage, banana peppers, and earlier we picked cauliflower, green peppers, rhubarb, green beans, and dill. And, our other herbs (basil, mint, oregano, and thyme) are all growing like crazy, too. But, we have to wait for the corn, pumpkins, squash, cucumber, cantaloupe, and the rest of the tomatoes (more grape and cherry, Roma, yellow, yellow pear, and heirloom) to grow and ripen before we can pick them.

Phew... catching up on housework back at home!
Now that we're back at home, I have to help get things caught up... like loading the dishwasher! Yay! I have 3 more teeth cutting this week (most of my eye teeth)... ouch.
On our way Home
On our way home, we stopped at this old stone barn that my moms thought was so cool that they wanted to take pictures!
BIG Radio Flyer Wagon at Waterfront Park in Spokane
Indoor Waterpark in Idaho
Because it was a bit too cold and windy during both of our trips to Idaho (Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene) we opted not to go to Silverwood amusement park / water park, as we originally planned. Instead, we went to Triple Play which had an indoor water park.
Here are several photos.... I wasn't too sure about it at first, but then I splashed in the water area for smaller kids, like me. And, I even floated with my moms in the wave pool on a big inner tube. The big red "bowl" behind me when my mommy (Steph) was carrying me, was the big Veloco-Vortex. My mommies went down it, and I'm pretty sure I heard my Mor (Lisa) screaming! I had a good laugh with my grandma Terri (my Mor's birth mother) after telling her a story... the acoustics are very good in an indoor water park, good for shouting out animal noises, and such!
