New haircut, new DUDS!

Phoenix is rather pleased with his new haircut, and VERY pleased with his new Disney Cars clothes (skinny jeans, shirts, socks, shoes, and even big boy boxer briefs)! He doesn't have his shoes on for these pictures, but here he is, being quite the HAM!

 

Sitting in a tree!

Jaxon was getting his mini photo shoot, when Phoenix decided HE wanted to sit in the tree, in the front yard, for his OWN photo shoot! Here he is being both sweet and SILLY!

My Aunt and Uncle came to visit!

My aunt Anna Maria and Uncle Dimitri ("meat tree") came to visit us in Albany this weekend. We had fun at the park! They stayed for dinner and even spent the night. I got a cool Disney / Pixar Cars (fuzzy) blanket from them, too!

 

Our New Chicks

 
We got 3 new chicks a couple of weeks ago. We don't know yet if they're hens or roosters. But, we're hoping for hens so that we can collect and enjoy their eggs, when they get bigger! They are Lavender Ameraucana Bantams. Their names are Nugget, Chirpy, and Agoo. I named Chirpy and Jaxon named Agoo. Right now, they are living in a big Rubbermaid bin with a heat lamp and a bed of pine shavings with a water feeder and a chick food feeder. But, they're getting big, so my Mom (Lisa) is working at building them a chicken coop. But, she can only do it when my other Mommy (Steph) is off of work, and she's been working a lot, so it's not getting done very fast! But, we let them outside to let them look for bugs and worms. We put them in a pen and sometimes let them run around outside of the pen (when the dogs are INside)!

First Fishing Trip

I got to go fishing with my Pappa Chris (my Mommy Steph's mom's husband, Chris) today at a local lake that is stocked with fish for fishing. Pappa Chris got me a fishing pole for my first fishing experience. I reeled in a big fish, but I didn't want to touch it. We will go catch some more soon so that we can smoke the fish in a smoker.
