We spent the day at Twin Lakes, off of the Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway, near Mt. Bachelor. We erected our 10' x 10' canopy to make sure we had protection from the sun and also made sure Phoenix had a good coat of baby sun screen. It was like putting on clown make up on his face!
The water was a little cold, but he seemed to enjoy it! And, he loved walking back into the campgrounds, where there were over 20 baby chipmunks running around, jumping on logs and picnic tables... and of course, Phoenix could look up and "talk" to the very tall trees!
