I think this is the first time Phoenix has actually been ON the beach... we've driven by, but had yet to get out to let him experience it! Unfortunately, his first experience was on a cold, wet, and windy day.... we'll definitely need to go again next Summer when it's warmer (and dry). He really loves playing in water, but not when it's ice cold! And, he doesn't seem to like wet sand on his hands!
But, he was a sport and touched all kinds of seaweed and shells and rocks before his hands just got too cold and we had to put his mittens on. He was bundled in layers and actually kept very dry (except for his hands)!
Phoenix chased the seagulls with the dogs and then when he was worn out, he got back in his wagon for a ride back to the car!
